Fee & Rebates
Psychology Laine accepts private-paying clients, eligible clients referred under a Mental Health Treatment Plan, and NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed.
Payment is required at the time of your appointment unless another billing arrangement has been agreed in advance. Medicare or private health rebates may be available depending on your eligibility and circumstances.
If you are accessing services through the NDIS, please get in touch before booking so we can confirm that Psychology Laine is able to provide the service you require and discuss the relevant billing arrangements.

About Rebates
Medicare rebates may be available if you have a valid referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP or another eligible referrer. Under current Medicare arrangements, eligible clients can access up to 10 subsidised psychology sessions per calendar year, usually beginning with an initial allocation and requiring a GP review for further sessions.
Private health insurance rebates may also be available depending on your insurer and level of cover. Please check directly with your insurer. Medicare and private health rebates cannot generally be claimed for the same appointment.
If your services are funded through another scheme such as NDIS, TAC, WorkCover, DVA or an EAP, please contact Psychology Laine before your first appointment so the funding and billing arrangements can be confirmed.
Cancellation and non-attendance fees are not claimable through Medicare, private health insurance or most third-party funding bodies.
